MRM Spring Banquet...April 17th 6:00-8:00pm Trinity Baptist Church

Well, we finally finished our study on the Five Love Languages of Children. It was a wonderful book and we were able to have some very helpful discussion on the different love languages. It is so interesting to see how each child recieves love in a different way, whether it through physical touch, or quality time, each is equally important. Hopefully we can take all of the wonderful insight and suggestions offered in the book and continue to practice them at home with our families.

Our next meeting will be on Friday April 17th at Trinity Baptist Church. We will be celebrating our 3rd Anniversary of MRM by hosting the second annual MRM Spring Banquet. Make plans to attend and bring a friend, or two, or three! It will be from 6:00- 8:00pm and childcare is provided. Come for wonderful food, entertainment, door prizes, and guest speaker Sara Taylor. It will be an evening of fun, fellowship, and relaxation. We hope to see you there!!

What a great meeting!

It was great to see all who could attend the meeting on the 9th. Thanks to all who brought the wonderful salads, bread, and yummy cupcakes! The discussion on quality time was very beneficial and not to mention the fun "timely" game that we played. Congrats to Amber, Autumn, and Courtney for blowing the rest of us out of the water! :-)

Our next meeting will be held on the evening of March 9th at the home of Melissa Morris. More info on food sign up to come. We will be discussing the last two love languages, acts of service, and gifts. We look forward to seeing you there!

Also, our annual MRM Spring Dinner is coming up on Friday April 17th. It will be held at Trinity Baptist from 6-8, childcare will be provided. There will be a guest speaker (t.b.a.), great food, entertainment, and door prizes. Make plans now to attend and bring a friend!

Our next meeting will be held on February 9th from 6 -8 pm. You may call the church office at 895-0100 to reserve childcare or for the location of the meeting. We are currently studying the book " The Five Love Languages of Children" by Gary Chapman, Ph.D and Ross Campbell, M.D. At our meeting we will be discussing the chapter on Quality Time. Dinner for the evening will be a Salad Supper. We look forward to seeing all of your smiling faces and the great fellowship that comes along with it. See you then!!

Ministry Audience: Any woman desiring to be a mother, an expecting mother, or a mother of a child up to Kindergarten age who would like to join us for fellowship, building friendships, seeks strong prayer support, or is looking for great learning opportunities through books and or experienced speakers to enrich your walk with the Lord and grow your mommy skills.



Mission Statement: To provide fellowship, support, and encouragement to the mothers of young children through monthly meetings, study, and discussion.



When and Where? Various houses the SECOND MONDAY of each month from 6:00 pm until 8:00pm.



Childcare? To be provided by Trinity Baptist Church...Mothers need to contact church office at 895-0100 by the Wednesday before meeting to reserve a spot.
